functioning cardiac surgery center with adjacent Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

pediatric medical supplies.
Have partnered with the First Lady
of Nicaragua in order to reduce the number of woman in
are affected by cervical cancer. Two ambulances were donated by
American Medical Response (and outfitted as mobile clinics by MRF). This
service brings preventative care to Nicaraguan women living in the rural
areas and has helped to reduce the rate of cervical cancer.
Donated a large supply of
firefighter turnouts (thermal protective wear) for the Managua Fire
Sponsored the transport to
California, housing, treatment
and surgery for a twelve year old Nicaraguan girl who needed definitive care
for debilitating cardiac condition. The condition was corrected and
she is now thriving.
